Trade Network
Trade or Barter is an old idea. One restriction to the traditional "direct trade" method can be illustrated as follows.

Suppose you have some chickens and you would like to trade eggs with a local barber for a haircut who highly needs some eggs. But what if you like your hair long, or your mom cuts your hair. If you don't need what he offers, then the trade opportunity may stop right there.
But, you both go ahead and be part of a trade network. You then sell your eggs to the barber for trade credit, and you can spend that trade credit anywhere in the network. In this case, the farmer purchased a tire for his tractor, from tractor company who doesn't even like eggs. But they can use the trade credits to printbusiness cards for his company. The system work good for everyone!
UWT is a type of currency. Just like your national dollar, if you take in paper money to a business, they will take it, and deal it for their product or service. Virtually each business in the country will take this currency, and some other countries all over the world. However, if you have Japanese yen, and take it to a business in the US, most won't accept it. You can however have it to a bank, and they trade you for the equivalent in US currency. The US dollar or some other countries currency is a currency, which only several businesses will take.
UWT currency is the same, however is only accepted by UWT members. The currency can be converted to other currencies through UWT, or you can think of it as, the UWT Bank.
You can also think of your UWT currency as a debit card , that only specific businesses will accept. Much like several businesses only accept Visa or Mastercard, this is similar within the UWT Network. It is presently a digital currency, so no paper money or checks are printed. Nevertheless, this is something we desire to provide in the future.
